Dana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s in Social Work at Barry University in 1994. She began her career assisting older adults in a hospital-rehabilitation setting focused upon patient recovery and adjustment. She later worked as a case manager providing both clinical and advocacy services in a variety of settings including nursing homes, assisted living communities and private residences. Dana then served as Director of Quality Assurance for a large Florida nursing home diversion program ensuring that older adults received high quality care in diverse settings. Dana’s experience also includes working in partial hospitalization programs focusing on psychotherapy interventions to help those coping with mental and emotional difficulties. Her real passion is working with older adults and their loved ones. Dana offers individual, family, and group counseling for TheraCounsel, Inc. in the Palm Beach County area.
