Sherri Issa, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Diplomat of the American Board of Care Management founded TheraCounsel, Senior Counseling and Advocacy, Inc. in 2000. After only two years of serving older adults as a solo practitioner in her private practice, she recognized the overwhelming need to serve older adults in Assisted, Independent, and free standing homes in the South Florida area. Today she and a team of highly qualified Geriatric Psychotherapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers, who comprise TheraCounsel Inc., take great pride in serving older adults coping with life transitions, relocation, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, anger and other age-related concerns.
